Lubes are individual, and like any sauce, mixing and matching can yield a new fun in using them! We love these 5 lubes, but what differentiates them from each other is the dispensing experience.

Product-Score of 5. Swiss Navy Silicone is also a favorite! Couldn’t rank higher! With lovely glide, it lasts long and gives that beautifully silky coated sensation. We love the feel! It earns a Dispenser-Score of 5: Thoughtful packaging is easy to unwrap the first time and easy to use the pump, which delivers really nice full doses, and then lays upon its side without dripping! No accidental emissions, even if you roll over on it.
It is the perfect companion to date night!
GUN OIL

Product-Score of 5. Gun Oil has that thick, smooth, silicone feel that makes all the rough play smooth-out. Paraben-free and glycerin-free, it is marketed as a lube for men, but ladies… long smooth gliding events are welcomed by us too, right?? It earns a Dispenser-Score of 4: If you are able to get that initial plastic wrapping and cap off, the dispensing becomes a breeze! Easily closeable pour spout so it doesn’t self-dispense onto your bed or floor when things get exciting and the bottle tips over. Easy bottle to squeeze and dose as much as you wish into your hand, so no shortage of fun! BUT, subsequent attempts to take off the cap (once replaced) can be a slippery mishap.
The double-entendre is cute and the bottle has a distinct profile which makes it easily identifiable when shopping. We are grateful for the many sizes it comes in, and overall we love to recommend this lube to our customers who are ready for some serious skin-to-skin play.

Product-Score of 5. pjur silicone lube is silky, thick, and feels like the luxurious premium product that we have come to expect it to be. It lasts long, doesn’t feel greasy, and allows you to feel all the contact without the friction. It also doesn’t feel oddly slippery like some others, once the playing is long over. It earns a Dispenser-Score of 4: We LOVE the way it squeezes out of the bottle, and we love how it re-caps. But it is a screw cap, and when in the moment, sometimes that cap does not get replaced immediately, resulting in spillages, accidental discharges when leaned on, resulting in staining.
It is, however one of our most recommended brands because the quality of the lube and the ease of pouring it into your hand make it a go-to for so many of our customers. The slim bottles are dark and discrete and fit nicely into a bag, without visually revealing their contents, in comparison to some of the clear bottles other brands offer.
überlube

Product-Score of 5. There is no arguing that überlube is a beautiful silky product, providing a long pleasure arc, not drying up, and definitely delivering a superior feel of gliding. But the packaging leaves the delivery a frustrating experience, thus earning a Dispenser-Score of 2: a glass bottle which risks being broken if it slips from your fingers during kitchen-sex or shower-sex; that tkk-tkk-tkk of the tiny little pump which must be depressed repeatedly to get a handful of that lovely fluid.
When we checked with the überlube representative about the ability to get it in a mason-jar with a real pump, or in a bottle with a hole for squeezing, she responded that they had no plans to do that, given their current production setup. She emphasized that for vaginal you “really only need one pump of the little glass jar, and for anal you only need two”.
Our response: “Says WHO??” Handjobs with handfuls of überlube are majestic events, and more lube is favored amongst polled participants. We would be all in with better packaging, überlube!

The Question:
Is lube safe in my mouth? What if I swallow some?
The Answer:
After calling a handful of lube companies, the answer is consistent.
Don’t drink it by the glassful, but if you are using it during oral sex, or licking someone’s skin which has lube on it (silicone or waterbased), you are safe. In particular, the silicone lubes are designed to pass through your system and be expelled. They are not able to be absorbed into the body through your digestive system.
Additionally, we have been told by these companies that their products are FDA tested for internal use.
